There are a lot of great activities that can be had in Southern Utah. If you live in Southern Utah or you are just visiting the state on vacation you will find that there are a log of things to do.

1. Hunting and fishing

There are a lot of Utah hunting in the state. The state is literally filled with deer and there are a lot of great lakes around as well. Utah is known for having some fantastic fishing; one lake was even noted as being one of the top fishing lakes in North America.

If you are a great outdoorsman you are going to love this state because you will find that there is so much to do.

2. Visit National Parks

Utah also houses some amazing Utah national parks. Bryce Canyon, Zions and the Arches are all world famous and worth seeing. They all have a list of activities themselves; in fact you could plan a whole vacation trip simply seeing one or more of these gigantic parks.

There are some interesting viewing spots in Bryce Canyon National Park. You may actually feel like you are in the middle of the Grand Canyon when visiting this spot. While the park is not as big as the Grand Canyon it can still be a breathtaking experience.

If you want to check out some of their wonderful Utah Scenery then the National Parks are something that you will have to visit.

3. Visit State Parks

The state parks are a little smaller than the National Parks, but they are just as fun to spend the day at. Each park is a little different, but they are all very fun to visit. I’ve only camped out at one state park, the Green River State Park, but they all offer a camping experience and are all worth the visit.

There are a lot of sites to see and a lot of adventures to have in Utah. So remember to have your hiking boots ready and to prepare to have some outdoor fun.
