The Renaissance Movement first started in Florence in Italy. It was the right perspective of the artists of the 15th century that leaded to the renaissance, which represented ‘rebirth’ of the art, culture, Italian civilization and architecture that suffered a serious hindrance during the middle ages thus reviving the missing glory of the Italian art.

Filippo Brunelleschi takes the credit for having ignited the Art Renaissance Movement in Italy though he is not the most famous figure attached to it. He was an architect by profession and was responsible for setting down the scientific laws of perspective based on which the Renaissance Art in Italy flowered later.

Barring Giotto di Bondone, a famous name that features in the Christian art movement in Italy in the 13th century, art in Italy was always of a two-dimensional style.

Renaissance art in Italy rose to prominence as a result of the implementation of the laws of perspective which the artists followed to progress towards development. Slowly renaissance art in Italy began to fabricate pieces that reflected scenic nature and the real world to perfection.

During the ancient Roman period, art in Italy was more a tool of the state and it handled only religious matters under the favour of the Catholic Church. It was renaissance art that really opened out the field of art in Italy. Though religious themes occupied the center stage of the renaissance art in Italy, nature and the description of the world in reality found placement in the renaissance art in the later period.

The 16th century is believed to be the zenith of the renaissance in Italy. Italy was awash with artists of such excellent quality, whose likes have never been seen since. Lake Tahoe is undoubtedly one of the distinguished natural treasures of the United States.
