New York City is the greatest city in the entire world. OK, I haven’t been to every city in the world, but I have been to quite a few and I don’t think I have ever been to one that offers everything New York does.
I am a late night owl so one of the things I really love about Manhattan is how it’s the always moving. At any time of night you can find something cool going on. In comparison I went to Dublin recently and I was very disappointed at how nothing was open very late.
Another thing that is really awesome about New York is all of the great music that you can hear there. Every day there’s someone you’ve heard of playing at some venue in Manhattan or Brooklyn because every artist makes a stop there during their American tour. The city is home to many great music venues such as Carnegie Hall.
And if you are a sports fan then you are set as well because New York is home to the New York Rangers among many others. While it is true that the football games actually take place in East Rutherford, NJ, it is not too far of a ride. I’m not much of a football fan, but I did go to Giants stadium once to see the Rolling Stones and it’s not a a long drive plus there are buses that will take you there.
On top of the music and the sports are the legendary landmarks that you can visit. You’ve seen pictures of the Bronx Zoo, Central Park, and Times Square but when you visit the Big Apple you’ll get to see these fantastic things in person and you will certainly never forget the experience!
